As part of a relaunch, we developed numerous improvements and enhancements for the Aral Mineralölvertrieb extranet.
The introduction of an authorization system enables the mineral oil distribution company to offer individual extranet services in a tiered manner. The company's customers can now access current product and order information, as well as their personal account balances, via the extranet – with personalized navigation. We've created the option for all users to define favorites. Additional help functions explain the individual applications.
For this purpose, we developed a J2EE-compatible navigation framework based on the Bea Weblogic application server and Oracle, which can be used to manage all content, authorizations, and user accounts.
